Under the provisions of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973, the Central Council has the responsibility to maintain the Central Register of Homoeopathy in Part I and in Part II; Part I contains the names of all the persons who possess any of the recognised medical qualification in Homoeopathy. Part II contains the names of all the persons other than those included in Part I who were enrolled on any State Register of Homoeopathy before the commencement of the provisions of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
Direct registration is also done by Central Council as per provisions of Homoeopathy Central Council (Registration) Regulations, 1982 (as amended from time to time) to applicants holding recognised medical qualification in Homoeopathy.
The Central Register of Homoeopathy in Part I and Part II containing the names of practitioners has been published in the Official Gazette on the 2nd January, 1993, the 6th January, 1996 and the 26th April, 2003. The Central Council is continuing the work to prepare the next supplement of Central Register of Homoeopathy.
