World Health Day is observed on April 7th as a way to honor physicians and other health care providers who have devoted their careers to serving humanity. They have sworn sacred office to serve our people, and we ought to honor that commitment. It was determined that the 2020 World Health Day theme would honor nurses and midwives in particular for their contributions to the current state of the world.
