April Fools' Day is a great time to spend laughing, jokes, and a little bit of dishonesty with your family. There are many well-meaning practical jokes that will make the whole family laugh, regardless of your level of skill as a trickster or your level of familiarity with April Fool's Day festivities.
There are those who actually detest it and those who find it appealing. However, each year as the dawn of the day devoted to practical jokes and hoaxes approaches, so do the thrill-seekers prepared to yell "got you!" directly into the faces of the gullible (and frequently unhappy) people. We have compiled a list of some of the most hilarious instances of people pulling practical jokes on April 1st, just in time for April Fools' Day. Some people will go above and beyond to add a little entertainment value to our otherwise boring life. 1. Many of us are forced to watch certain series with our partner or roommate, without skipping any episodes. In order to give the impression that you have progressed without them, go through the episode list and begin playing the show a few more episodes. Try to maintain a straight face when you watch it together later and they notice something is wrong!
2. While there are many apps you may download to a friend's phone, "Pun of the Day" is one that they could actually find amusing you can make jokes about it all year long!
3. Get a GIF of the notorious typing dots and send it to various family members. They'll be quite interested to see what you may be writing about for so long!
4. To put it mildly, the brown water from your few flushes after stuffing coffee grinds into the toilet tank will make things unpleasant between your housemates!
5. If you have friends on Facebook who are avid users of social media, set their posts' visibility to private for the day and wait to ask them why they don't have any likes.
6. Put a straw into a package of yellow mustard, place the packet in a friend's can of soda or sparkling water, and watch the funnies happen!
7. Your child will be perplexed as to why they can't spoon out cereal and milk when it's frozen overnight!
8. Put a sign on the back of your car that says, "Please honk and wave April Fools' prank!" to either fool your roommate or spouse on the way to work, or your kids on their way to school! This joke also has additional iterations, such as "honk if you have to poop."
9. To turn the display screen upside down on a Windows computer, use the Ctrl, Alt, and downward arrow keys. By simultaneously pressing Ctrl, Alt, and the up arrow key, you may turn it back!
10. Make a sundae with mashed potatoes and gravy that resembles ice cream and caramel sauce, but it's really more like dinner than dessert!
